U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD
Saturday started out with a delay on shore for an hour and a half before a
light south-easterly started to fill. Racing began just before noon outside
of Annapolis harbor. Seven races were completed in a south-easterly breeze
that slowly worked south throughout the day. The breeze ranged between four
and eight knots tailing off towards the end of the day. One protest was
filed resulting in one DSQ.
Racing started on Sunday at ten o'clock in a shifty westerly. The first
race was sailed in ten to fifteen knots of breeze building to fifteen to
eighteen in the second race. One protest was filed resulting in one DSQ.
Congratulations to St. Mary's and Navy for qualifying for ICSA Sloop
Nationals.
