Support sailing at Queen's
Sailing is an expensive sport, and Queen’s sailors run a series of annual fund raisers to defray the costs of competition. We are also given an annual grant from the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The fact remains that the team would not be able to function without the generosity of our alumni and friends. In the winter of 2008, you helped us buy a new fleet of 420s. The new boats were a great boost to the team!
We are currently raising money to pay for coaching, regatta entry fees, boat maintenance, travel costs, and 420 racing sails.
How to Give
The sailing team has an account with the Queen’s University Office of Advancement. When donating to the team in this way, charitable tax receipts can be issued. Please be sure to indicate that your gift is for the “sailing team”.
